Rabun County Little League

Rabun County Little League is a Non-profit Organization run by volunteers who’s mission is to provide an opportunity for our community’s children to learn the game of baseball and softball in a safe and friendly environment.

Our goal is to provide all participants in the Rabun County Little League program the necessary information, tools and resources to fully understand the joys of playing, coaching and watching the game of baseball. Through this knowledge will come a higher level of appreciation of the game and a greater, more fulfilled enjoyment of participating in the baseball experience. Our Mission

1) Provide our coaches/parents with specific, detailed information on what and how to properly teach the game of baseball at every level of play.

2) To ensure that a greater percentage of children are correctly being taught the fundamentals of baseball and can more effectively realize they’re full potential.

3) To make the game a FUN, EXCITING and POSITIVE experience for all involved.

Rabun County Little League teams are managed and coached by volunteers, typically parents of players. Every team, from T-Ball through Majors, needs 1 manager and at least 1-2 assistant coaches. Parents of little leaguers, I encourage you to read this letter.

A committee reviews candidates and establishes a list of potential appointees. The RCLL President appoints all managers and coaches, subject to ratification by the Board of Directors. There is no seniority or tenure in serving as a manager or coach year to year.

To be considered, simply submit a completed manager/coach application to the Board for review prior to the season.

Concession Stand

We need volunteers for the concession stand. Please volunteer for our community during games that your children are not playing.  We are getting a hot pretzel machine this year and the italian icees and nachos/cheese will back again!! Registration will be held at the New City Hall Suite 101. $60 Registration Fee

Tryouts will be on February 11

Opening Day is March 24
